The majestic Langtang Valley Trek is the nearest Himalayan region to
Kathmandu Valley, only a few hours drive from Kathmandu, and you're accessing
the stunning eco-balanced Langtang National Park. Although the Langtang
area is very near Kathmandu, it is wild and high like any other Tibetan highland
with quiet countryside, that warms the heart. The local people living

in Tibet and they look even like Tibetan people. This is why the Langtang area of Nepal
is one of the most searched for short-term trekking areas, and would like to
take a short trek from Kathmandu to the Himalayas with a particular interest in
Tibetan lifestyle. Trekking around the Langtang valley is one of the most
different walking trails that are so close to the ancient kathmandu, thanks to
its varieties of rhododendrons, dense bamboo woodland, dancing waterfalls and
close views of the snow capped Himalayas.
